BUSY DAYS

This is a couple of my prints on the drying rack - there are a a few more colour layers to be added but I quite like them just simple like this ? erm something to think about.

I made my first ETSY purchase today. A recomendation from bloesem . A beautiful letter press print by ah_yi called "my Garden" - Bloesem is a great blog I read regularly and it's really inspiring to see other great printing work !

PRINTING PRINTING AND MORE PRINTING !

My life at the moment is all about getting as much printing in as possibl. Here are some of my prints from today - the dahlia flower was an experient. I liked the colour graduation effect that happened by accident one time. I like the colour not being too controlled within a controlled shape - letting the pigments mix themselves a little. I've not quite mastered it yet but I think it has potential.

Here are some seriously decadent silk hand-painted wallpapers ! I like the fact that traditional techniques are yet still used today. They are all custom made and have a luxurious and exclusivity to them, that fits with the design and style.
