At the beginning of the year I did some freelance work for the illustrious, infamous and colourful Fred Butler. (she also happens to be my flatmate and good friend from school but I promise I'm not bias) - the work we did made it to the press so here are some bad scans of the beautiful pieces. All credits go to Fred as she is the creative genius, I just cut things out but I still proud of our work.

I am genuinely obsessed with this book at the moment. I literally could not put it down to start with and I am now on the second read. It is really well written with a fantastic story and beautiful wallpapers ! What more could you ask for ?

Florence Broadhurst had an amazing life, full of drama. She reinvented herself several times over in different countries. (madonna eat your heart out !) The thing I find so compelling is, she was very determined and strong willled woman - she applied her personality to her design which shows in the 550 estimated designs she produced in the latter years of her life. Take a look at them at SIGNATURE PRINTS

Scarves are a great source of inspiration for repeat patterns and prints - (also an affordable way of collecting) These are some beautiful purchases I made this weekend. More work next week ...
